We are going to start up this blog as a family. This is a way for us to keep a journal of our life and also keep everyone else in touch with what is going on in our lives. We have lots of things going on in our life everyday. Maybe not anything to "write home about" but still important mile stones or events.
For example, yesterday (Saturday Dec 15 ) Kali's basketball team played in a tournament with all the teams (9) in her age group (5th - 6th grade). Her team, Hoogabooga, played @ 9:00 am and won that game 24/16. So then they played again @ 10:00. They won that game 16/8, this put them into the championship game to be played at 12:00. Their opponent they would play for the championship had slaughtered them the week before. I had little hope that they would win and was excited that they had made it this far. But their team pulled through with flying colors! Kali made the first rebound and scored the first basket. Each player played to their potential and they WON! Kali is so proud of her medal that we can't get her to take it off.
